...we've been spending most of our time on the house trying to get finished up and moved in and living there by September 15th, so our renters (who are being kicked out of their current house) can move in.  The boys are spending the weekend at my Dad's  and I miss them already.  I'm crossing my fingers that this won't be too difficult, since Simon is still nursing.  We are doing what it takes because we still don't have all our floors even! 

We still have to polish all our wood (and we have lots of wood - all our trim, cabinets, everything) and clean out the cabinets (so we can start moving stuff over, yay!).  Kevin hasn't even started laying the wood flooring yet,   and it has to be finished in time for the carpet guys to lay the carpet Tuesday morning.  Ack!  Then comes baseboards and bath hardware, and the rest of lighting (Kevin has been doing this every night, so I think he is probably pretty close).  Forget landscaping, back patio, and color-coat stucco until we are moved in!  We still need to take delivery of and install all the appliances, and move in and be living there - all by the 15th!  

I'm sure there are plenty of details I've forgotten, and time's ticking, so I am off to work on the house already!!
